2003-11-13 - 12:18 a.m. Thuggish Ruggish Bone....... Now that was some Gangsta shit. "E. 1999 Eternal" was some hard shit ya'll. Nick and I were bumpin' that album today and it gave me some 12 year old nostaliga. God damn, gangsta rap, you knew you had some if there's was at least 50 different type of gunshots/gun cocks/explosions scattered around the CD. I remember when I copped that first Bone Thugs single, "For the Love of Money" where they took that O'jays song and raped it. That was about the same time I picked up Scarface's "Never Seen a Man Cry" single. Now, that shit was gangsta with jingle bells in it!!! Scarface just got that voice that gets you, but his voice ain't as bad as Chubb Rock. Damn he had a voice....."DON'T DRINK THE MILK 'CAUSE IT'S WHITE!!!!" Now that was hard. Hip-Hop don't got the outlandish gangsta mentality that it used to. I think it all started when Sticky Fingaz got bitched in that celebrity boxing match on MTV with some white punk. I just couldn't take gangsta stances seriously after that. Sticky, he was supposed to be the grimiest of grimey, saying shit like this in his Thank You liner notes: "FUCK ALL YA'LL!!!!" Now I'm seeing Macho Man Randy Savage with his debut hip-hop album and him and Sticky sound dead on alike. As a matter of fact, check Onyx's "Slam" and watch Sticky do an impression of him. Now, who's biting who? Should they duke it out in the ring?!?!? Fuck calling out Hulk Hogan, call out Sticky Macho Man! Sticky's bitchmade, call him out, he needs a job!
